You can play Cash, ‘Match’ or Free Play Games:
- Cash Games are one game played with an agreed stake per point and maximum stake (for doubling).
- Match Games are played to an agreed number of points and this could mean more than one game is played.

Rake
- Rake is taken of the amount at stake, and only of the winnings paid to the winner of each game. No rake on tournament play.
- The rake varies depending on winnings, from 5% for wins less than $50, down to 2.5% for wins over $200.
- On match play for each additional point, after the initial point, a 0.25% rake is added. This is capped at 11 match points (2.50%).
Player ratings
All players have a Backgammon player rating. When you win games your rating go up and when you lose it falls.
Tournaments
Ladbrokes offer a great programme of scheduled tournaments including a monthly $2000 tournament. Scheduled events cost $1-$20 to enter.
Sit and Go Tournaments also always available. $1 or $5.
Chat
You can chat in any language you prefer, and can use the speed chat function to chat to people in their own language.
The software initially included English and Greek languages, with further options to be added, beginning with Swedish, Danish and Turkish.
