Please explain doubling in online backgammon?


I got yelled at because I didn’t keep doubling. I was even in the newbie room. I’m new to all of this and these people wern’t very patient.

My question is about online backgammon?


I was looking for an online backgammon game with true money, I found www.truemoneygames.com , it’s working by downloading a software then to play using the software, how can I be sure that there is no cheat in the software, how can I know that the other person who play with me is not a member in the casino itself and can control the software in a way that makes me lose because the whole game depends on the dice, what if they can control the dice?
Of course this doesn’t mean they are doing that, I am just asking to know what to do.
Did anybody try it? Your advice please.

I want to play backgammon and the board does not show up?


i go to yahoo games and try to play backgammon but when my board is suppose to show up it does not and I opened up pop ups as suggested yet it is still not there.

I play backgammon online for money.at partygammon.com they use a rating system.How do you lower this rating?


Is it possible to manipulate your own rating somehow. My rating is currently red, and it seems no one wants to play with me anymore. I just want to play the game. Can you intentionally lose small stake games? Is there a better way to lower your rating? I can offer cash if someone can help! Signed desperate backgammon player.

in playing backgammon to 128 pts. Is it a written rule that you must double your opponent EVERY roll?


I feel that it is strategic to get to 64 and hold off on cubing if it looks like you have no chance of winning. I have been told by yahoo backgammon players however, that I am cheating..Am I? If the game looks even then I of course always double to 128…thx. for answer
