Are there any free backgammon games to play on computer without going online?

I would like to be able to play backgammon on my computer, without going online and tying up my phone line. Any suggestions as to sites that I could download free and then put on computer and playing without being online?

There are a few on this page (hidden between some others you pay for), but I don’t know how good they play.

  2. Jason H Says:

If you use Yahoo Messenger then you can play against people in your contacts list for free in there.Just open a chat box with that person and at the top you should see an icon that says Games…hit that then choose Backgammon…….Then hey presto

  3. The Professor Says:

You can download a FREE version of Jellyfish, called Jellyfish Light. This is a free program that doesn’t have all of the features activated, but is a great training tool. It’s fast and fun, even without alll the features activated. Here’s the link, I think you’ll enjoy it!
